August 26th

Final stop of the Cirque Series brings us back to Little Cottonwood Canyon with a stop at Snowbird Resort.   The course brings participants up to Hidden Peak via Peruvian Gulch, to the base of Mineral Basin, before ascending Sugarloaf Pass on the way to Mt. Baldy. Runners will finish up just in time for live music, food, and drinks at Snowbird's Oktoberfest!

The, 8.9 mile/14k, course with 3,599 ft of climbing starts on the Creek Road under the Tram at the base area begin running and head east towards the bypass road and connect into Chauner’s Loop and then head up the steep tight switchbacks of the Peruvian Gulch Trail. Turn onto the Ridge trail feel the burn in your legs with large sweeping views Snowbird’s Cirque and Mt. Baldy ending up on Hidden Peak with expansive views of the entire Wasatch Range. Catch your breath and loop around the backside of Hidden Peak and make your way down to Gorilla Pass and head straight up to the Summit of Mt. Baldy, the highest point in the race. Make your way down a steep and technical section of trail to Sugarloaf pass being sure to save enough energy for one more uphill section to the cool refreshing shade and air of Snowbird’s Ski through Tunnel.
